A: To connect:
Go to Company > Integrations.
Choose Samsara and click Activate.
Authorize DPB by logging in and clicking Allow.
Once connected, click Sync Vehicles, Sync Drivers, and Sync Trailers.
The sync runs every 15tes. After that, any changes in Samsara reflect in DPB automatically.
Q: My trailers in Motive aren’t appearing in DPB. What do I do?
A: If trailers aren’t syncing, it’s usually because they’re not shared correctly in Motive. Contact support to refresh the sync, and confirm your trailers are properly tagged in Motive first.
Q: I can’t find a truck in DPB but it’s active in Samsara. Why?
A: This can happen if the truck was renamed or transferred in Samsara. Since DPB matches units by ID, check the original ID in Samsara and verify the sync history in DPB. If still missing, support can re-import it manually.
Q: When a driver switches trucks in Samsara, does DPB update?
A: Yes. If the Samsara integration is active, driver assignments update in DPB automatically within the next sync (about every 15 minutes).
