What is Quick Chat?
Our Quick Chat feature allows users to have conversations with the Claude V4 Sonnet model outside the context of a specific deal. It supports a maximum of 100 pages across all documents combined.
To access Quick Chat, locate the Quick Chats speech bubble icon on the left side of your screen.
Select "New chat" to begin
Type your query in the text box, attach documents (optional), and press the Send icon ➤
You can also access Quick Chat from the Home page
What is the difference between Quick Chat and regular Chat?
Quick Chat is designed for faster, exploratory conversations. You do not have to create a deal or upload a full VDR to use Quick Chat. Quick Chat is not meant for querying a large quantity of documents or extremely long documents.
Can I see old Quick Chat conversations?
Yes, select the Quick Chats speech bubble on the left side of your screen to see old Quick Chats.
How long does it take for uploaded documents to become available for conversation in Quick Chat?
Documents can take 30 seconds or more to process (increasing with document size) and become accessible for interaction in the Chat.
Can I change the AI model in Quick Chat?
Currently, you can't change the model in a Quick Chat and there is no gear icon. To change the AI model, use regular chats where you can readily change the model being used.
Does Quick Chat support images in uploaded documents?
Yes, Quick Chat provides full access to all images in uploaded documents, not just charts and graphs. You can "talk" to any image within the uploaded files.
Is the conversation in Quick Chat private?
Yes, your Quick Chat conversations remain private. Quick Chats cannot be made Deal Team or have their visibility settings changed.
Can I export Quick Chats?
Yes, from the Quick Chats page, select the Quick Chat you'd like to export and click the export button. From there choose the format you'd like your Quick Chat exported in.
Quick Chats can be exported as:
Word (table): Exported as a Microsoft Word document in a table format containing the date and time of the Chat, Chat Name, User Message, and AI Response
Word (clean): Exported as a Microsoft Word document in Q&A paragraph format
Word (clean, answers only)
Excel
Does Quick Chat have any file limits or restrictions?
You can upload as many files as you'd like to Quick Chat, but any more than four files will slow down Quick Chat's response time and may result in errors. If you'd like to query many files at once, we recommend creating a Deal.
Quick Chat has a combined limit of 100 pages total across all uploaded documents, with individual file limits of 5MB for images and 20MB for PDFs.
What file types are supported by Quick Chats?
Currently Quick Chat only supports files in PDF, PNG, JPG, and JPEG formats.
