Getting Started

Where can I access Blueprints?
You can access Blueprints from two locations:

  • Blueprint Studio in the left navigation menu

  • Blueprints tab within a specific deal

What file types can I use to create a Blueprint?
Blueprints support uploads of PDFs, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.

Creating Blueprints

How do I create a new Blueprint?

  1. Navigate to the Blueprint Studio

  2. Click New Blueprint and upload your source document (PDF, Word, PowerPoint)

  3. Select the documents you want the Blueprint to reference

  4. Click Create to save your template

Can I run a Blueprint immediately after creating it?
Yes. When creating a new Blueprint, you have the option to select a deal to run it immediately upon creation.
How does ToltIQ analyze my uploaded document?
ToltIQ reads the structure and format of your source document, identifies distinct sections, and converts them into a reusable template. When applied to a new deal, it repopulates each section with relevant information from that deal's documents.

Enhanced File Support

Blueprints supports loading PowerPoint files and very large PDF files, expanding the types of documents you can process through the platform.

The Blueprint Editor

What does the Blueprint editor look like?
The editor displays your AI-generated output as a Word document format. Prompts appear on the right side of the screen, showing what instructions drive each section of the output.
Can I modify Blueprint content?
Yes. You can modify content in two ways:

  • Edit the prompts on the right side to change the AI instructions

  • Manually edit the output directly in the document view

All changes auto-save as you work.
If I change a prompt, does it affect all Blueprint runs?
Currently, changing a prompt will only save for that particular blueprint run.

Custom Instructions

You can apply custom instructions to all Blueprint runs. Additionally, you have the flexibility to use different custom instructions for different runs, allowing you to tailor the analysis approach based on your specific needs.

Working with Blueprints

How do I run a Blueprint in a specific deal?
Go to the blueprint studio, select the blueprint you want to run, and in the Run Blueprint modal select the deal you want to run the blueprint in.
How do I view citations for Blueprint outputs?
Citations look a bit different than compared to our chat feature. We are underlining the text that is being cited instead of providing a new citation badge. Highlight an underlined section and hold Command / Control and click to see the page being cited.

Coming Soon

Will there be additional formatting options?
Yes. Enhanced formatting capabilities will be introduced in V2. Things like producing a powerpoint, formatting font, adding shapes, and working with specific colors are all on our near-term roadmap.
