ToltIQ will check your Egnyte permissions at the time of use to determine which documents and folders you are authorized to access — only content you have permission to view in Egnyte will be available for chat within ToltIQ.

​Where does Egnyte appear in ToltIQ? Once enabled, Egnyte is available as a source connector within Chats. You can search across all documents in your egnyte environment by asking questions in chats.
​What does "checking my permissions" mean? When you use the Egnyte connector, ToltIQ verifies your access rights against your Egnyte account in real time. This ensures that only the files and folders you are permitted to view in Egnyte are surfaced within ToltIQ. Documents you do not have access to in Egnyte will not be available to you through the connector.
​What type of connector is Egnyte? Egnyte is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector, the same underlying technology that powers other ToltIQ connectors. This enables a seamless, real-time connection between your Egnyte content and ToltIQ's AI capabilities.
