Create a new user for Access hosted customers

Create the user

  1. Log into Dimensions as an administrator then click System.

  2. Click User Records then select the blank line.

  3. Click Edit and fill in the necessary details.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Send them their new username and password.

Set a password

Provide the new user a link to the hosting gateway then advise to follow the below:

  1. Click Reset My Password then enter the username and password.

  2. Click Log in then click Continue.

  3. Enter the email address then click the (+) icon.

  4. Click Enrol then click the change password link.

  5. In the old password field, enter the password you were provided.

  6. In the new and confirm password fields, enter your new password.

  7. Click Change Password.

To open Dimensions in the hosted environment:

  1. Open a web browser.

  2. Enter the following web address if you have a shared gateway: https://gateway.accessacloud.com/rdweb

  3. Enter the following web address if you have a private gateway: https://**Change To Your Account Name**.accessacloud.com/rdweb (if you are unsure of this please reach out to your IT team who should be able to provide this information)

  4. Logon using your Cloud Account details, e.g. cloud\DM1234s.smith
    ​

Note: In Dimensions 3.0 users are created and managed inside of Access Workspace using the Workspace members functionality. Under the members tab you can grant access to both products and to individual databases.
