Turn on or amend access to use Corrections module

Access to the Corrections module is control through the Dimensions User Security Profiles.

Corrections is a powerful tool that enables users to edit or delete previously posted transactions and therefore it is recommended that only a limited number of users are granted access to it.

Granting or amending user access to Corrections can be done as follows:

Ribbon style menu:

  1. Select System from the main menu.

  2. Click on Profiles

  3. Locate the Security Profile you wish to update using the Previous or Next buttons

  4. Click on Edit

  5. Click on the Corrections button

  6. This will open a window that will allow the user to turn on or off the appropriate permissions in Corrections for users. Note that there are also detailed attribute selection options to make in the right-hand pane, when the lowest level menu items are selected on the left-hand pane.

  7. Close the Corrections window (cross in top right)

  8. Click on Save

Classic/Module Menus style menu:

  1. Select System Control, Users, Security Profiles from the main menu.

  2. Locate the Security Profile you wish to update using the Previous or Next buttons

  3. Click on Edit

  4. Click on the Corrections button

  5. This will open a window that will allow the user to turn on or off the appropriate permissions in Corrections for users. Note that there are also detailed attribute selection options to make in the right-hand pane, when the lowest level menu items are selected on the left-hand pane.

  6. Close the Corrections window (cross in top right)

  7. Click on Save
