You currently have no MFA, and want to add a hardware token as your secondary authentication.

What You Will Need

  1. Your Dispel login credentials

  2. A hardware token

  3. A safe place to store recovery codes

How To Do It

  1. In the lower left corner of the Console, click on the circle with your initials, then click on "Account Settings."

 2. Scroll down to the "Two-factor Authentication" section and click "Add new device."

3. Since it is your first form of MFA, you will see a list of recovery codes. Save your recovery codes in a safe place.

4. After saving your recovery codes, click "I saved them, show me the next step."

5. You will see a prompt to nickname your token.

6. After naming, you will see a prompt to insert your new hardware token and press the button on the token.

7. Once the key has been added you will be redirected to the settings page, where you'll see your newly added key.

8. If you want to be extra sure that MFA works now, sign out of your account and sign back in.

Logging In with Hardware Token

  1. Enter your username and password

2. Plug in your hardware token and press the button.

3. Congratulations! You should be in.
