This article assumes that:

  1. You are using an Apple computer running macOS. If you are on another device, please refer to the article for iPadOS or iOS.

  2. You have already downloaded and installed the Dispel application on your computer. If you have not yet done so, please follow the instructions here, and then return to this article.

This article will cover:

  1. How to navigate VPN configuration installation the first time you open the Dispel app.

First time opening the app

The first time you open the macOS application, you should see a login screen. Click "Let's Do It."

This will take you to a screen that sets up your VPN configurations. Click "What does this mean for my privacy?" to see details for what the configurations will need.

Once you have read them, click "Ok, Install VPN Profile."

A window will pop up asking permission to add a VPN configuration. Make sure to click "Allow."

Once you click "Allow," you should see the Dispel login screen.
