This article assumes that:

  • Your Okta integration has been fully configured

  • You have been provided a set of Okta credentials

  • You know your unique Organization identifier

This article covers how to log into the Dispel with your Okta credentials through the Console, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS apps.

Note to Administrators: Once your integration is complete, all user management should be done through Okta and not Dispel. Please add new users to the Dispel app through the Okta Console, and provide them with your unique Organization identifier.

Log into Dispel through Okta - Console

1. Navigate to the Dispel Console (or application) and click "Login with Okta"

2. Enter your Organization identifier and press "Login using Okta"

3. A browser window with Okta should appear. Enter your Okta credentials and press "Sign in"

*Note: At this point, you may be prompted for multi-factor authentication if you have it enabled.

Congratulations! You have logged in to Dispel with your Okta credentials.

Log into Dispel through Okta - iPad

1. Press "Settings" on the sign-in screen of your Dispel application.

2. Toggle the switch labeled "Use Okta authentication."

3. Verify that the toggle is purple, and tap "Done".

4. You should now be prompted to enter your Organization Identifier, and be redirected to log in through Okta.

Log into Dispel through Okta - iPhone

1. Press "Settings" on the sign-in screen of your Dispel application.

2. Toggle the switch labeled "Use Okta authentication."

3. Verify that the toggle is purple, and tap "Done".

4. You should now be prompted to enter your Organization Identifier, and be redirected to log in through Okta.
