This article assumes that:
You have downloaded and set up your client application
You have been explicitly instructed by a Dispel team member to perform this host address change
You know your new host address
This article applies to Dispel macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Windows client applications.
macOS Application
Step 1: Open your application and navigate to Dispel → Preferences.
Step 2: Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Step 3: Type in your host address in the "Host address" box.
Step 4: Press "Confirm and Sign out".
When you next log in to the Dispel application, you will be connected to the new host address.
iOS and iPadOS Applications
Step 1: Open the application and tap on "Settings".
Step 2: Tap on the "Host Address" field to edit it.
Step 3: Type in your new host address.
Step 4: Once you have typed in your new host address, go back to the "Settings" page.
Step 5: Once back on the Settings page, press "Done".
When you next log in to the Dispel application, you will be connected to the new host address.
Windows Application
Step 1: Open the application and click "Settings".
Step 2: Type in your new host address under "Host address", and click "Apply host address changes".
Step 3: A confirmation window will show up. Click "Ok".
When you next log in to the Dispel application, you will be connected to the new host address.
