Explanation of the various Dispel Dashboard Log Types

Introduction

There are a number of different log items captured on the Dispel Dashboard and applications. For an overview of the Logs page, click here

Log Item Descriptions

ACL List Add

A member granted ACLs to a port / protocol on a device, either to another member or to themselves. The log item includes the timestamp, device, facility, and which ports / protocols were added.

ACL List Remove

A member revoked ACLs to a port / protocol on a device, either to another member or to themselves. The log item includes the timestamp, device, facility, and which ports / protocols were revoked.

Approve Access Request

A facility approver or admin approved an access request to a facility from a non-admin member. The log item includes data such as approver notes and a link to the specific access window that was approved.

Connection Closed

A member using the Dispel VPN application closed their VPN connection.

Connection Interrupted

An interruption occured with a member's VPN connection while using the Dispel application.

Connection Opened

A member using the Dispel VPN application opened their VPN connection.

Create Stack

A member created a VDI stack on the Dispel dashboard.

Delete Stack

A member deleted a VDI stack on the Dispel dashboard.

Delete VDI

A member deleted a single VDI on the Dispel dashboard.

Deny Access Request

An admin or facility approver denied a member's access request.

Edit User

A member's permission level was either raised or lowered.

Member Sign In

A member signs in using Dispel credentials.

Member Sign In MS

A member signs in using Microsoft SSO.

Member Sign In OAth

A member signs in using Okta.

Request Access

A non-admin requests access to a facility.

Reserve VDI

A member reserves a VDI from a stack on either Dashboard or on the application.

Window Extended

A member's access window was granted an extension.

Window Shortened:

A member's access window was shortened.
