The Dispel VPN application can be configured for your organization to check 3 things before allowing a user to connect through Dispel.

  1. Minimum app version for the Dispel VPN app.

    1. The format for Windows app version is [Major].[Minor].[Build].[Patch]. For example, the latest Dispel app version at the time of writing is 3.1.3.0

  2. Is an anti-virus installed on machine?

    1. This is a limitation of Windows and does not mean the antivirus is running. Windows API's for desktop apps do not expose whether the anti-virus is actually active or doing it's job. Only that it is installed.

  3. Minimum Windows OS version defined by your organization.

    1. The minimum Windows version that the Dispel VPN application is built for is Windows version is 10.0.17763. These version numbers are in a [Major].[Minor].[Build] format and is configurable to your organization's desired minimum Windows version.
