Using the Password Vault

Simplified access to your remote devices and services with enhanced security

The Password Vault lets you store sensitive login details for your remote devices in secure, encrypted storage that is separate from the Dispel application database. When a user reserves a Virtual Desktop Instance (VDI), shortcuts are created for devices with login credentials that are stored in the Password Vault. Double-clicking these shortcuts uses the stored credentials to establish a connection to the device or service automatically, without revealing the credentials to the user. This makes the connection process simpler, quicker, and much more secure.

To add Password Vault capability to a region in your organization, contact Dispel Support.
