The purpose of this document is to demonstrate how an admin is able to edit various details of an active or future pending access window. Expired windows cannot be modified. The details you can modify are
the name,
the start time (if the start time has not already passed), and
the end time.
To modify an access window:
Go to the Access Windows interface using the “Access Windows” option in the left navigation. There will be a list of all existing Access Windows, which you can search. Click on the Access Window you want to edit and you will see the details of the Access Window.
Below is an example of what you see if you use the search bar to search for the name of an Access Window. In our example, the name includes "demo."
Please note: custom naming present in group access windows means that you may need to adjust your filters to find the proper access window as they will not necessarily follow the default pattern any more.
Below is an example of the Access Window detail screen. In this screen you are able to modify the NAME, the START TIME (if the start time has not already passed), and the END TIME.
Each of these fields can be edited, and it is required to enter a note explaining what was updated for logging and audit purposes before you SAVE your changes. Clicking CANCEL will not make any changes to the window.
