NOTE
If this is your first RRN deployment, we will be setting up the fileshare server with you. We will also gladly set up subsequent fileshare servers for you if you send us a message.

PROCEDURE

Step 1 : Connect to the RRN on which the fileshare server has been created.

Step 2 : Connect to fileshare.dispel.io in a browser.

Step 3
: Follow the prompts on the wizard.

You will be greeted by this page.

If you choose English, you will see this window when you hit "Start Wizard"

After you enter in the requisite information, you will then find yourself on the page where you get to configure the database underpinning the fileshare system. If you are a decent person, you should select PostgreSQL for your database. You can also use SQLite or MySQL. And yes, for those of you who did well in spelling bees, you read that properly; "Connection" is spelled "Connexion" in the wizard (we do have a sense of humor).

Finally, you will get to Advanced Options. Fill this out as you see fit, then hit "Install Pydio".

Step 4 : Mission Accomplished.

ANOTHER NOTE

The fileshare platform we have deployed onto most of our RRNs is an open source platform called Pydio. We decided to use Pydio because it is both a feature rich application and it allowed us to maintain complete control over inbound/outbound traffic. That means we can ensure your conversations are isolated and strictly confidential. We are also open source believers which, of course, is why we open sourced Jak (a PGP alternative for encrypting files you wish to share).
