How can I resolve payment and court selection issues in DivorceVirtual?

When using DivorceVirtual, you may encounter issues related to payment processing or discrepancies in court selection. Below are steps to address these common concerns:

Payment Troubleshooting

If you are unable to access the Utah Court ePayment portal, follow these steps:

  1. Troubleshoot Access Issues: If you are located outside the United States, consider using a VPN to access the Utah Court ePayment portal. This can help resolve access restrictions. A VPN allows you to connect to the internet through a server located in the United States, bypassing any location-based restrictions.

  2. Alternative Payment Method: You can also pay your court fees directly through DivorceVirtual. Navigate to the payment section in your dashboard and complete the payment under the "Payments" step. This option is particularly useful if the payment link remains inaccessible or if you prefer not to use a VPN.

Court Selection and Document Submission

If you notice a discrepancy in the court selection displayed in DivorceVirtual after paying your fees, here’s what you can do:

  1. Change court selection: On the Final filing Instructions screen, you can click on Change Court. When you click on Download Final Documents for Email, it will make all the necessary changes automatically.

By following these steps, you can ensure a smooth process for both payment and court selection within DivorceVirtual.
