DivorceVirtual supports uncontested divorces in Utah for couples without minor children.
Who Qualifies
To use DivorceVirtual, all of the following must be true:
Uncontested divorce — both parties agree on all terms (property, debts, etc.)
No minor children — the couple has no children under 18 together
Marriage is legally valid — the marriage was legally performed online and recognized in Utah County, Utah
If you were married through an online ceremony
As long as the marriage was legally performed and recognized, you are eligible — the format of the ceremony (in-person vs. remote) does not affect eligibility. Services like VirtualMarriage, Courtly, etc. are 100% eligible. However, eligibility is contingent on the marriage being performed through Utah County, Utah. Marriages performed outside Utah County may not qualify for this service.
If your marriage occurred outside Utah County
If your marriage did not take place in Utah County, Utah, you will need to explore alternative methods for filing your divorce, as DivorceVirtual does not support marriages outside this jurisdiction.
