📂 Managing My Shares
After your investment is accepted and the offering closes, you may be wondering where your shares are, how to view your portfolio, or how to access key documents. This article outlines how shares are managed through the DealMaker platform and how to find supporting materials related to your investment.
📍 Where Are My Shares Held?
DealMaker does not hold securities or issue shares. Once your investment is accepted by the issuer and the deal has closed:
The issuer (the company you invested in) is responsible for issuing your securities.
In some cases, the issuer may appoint a registered transfer agent to manage shareholder records and process security issuance.
You’ll be notified by email when your shares are issued or when digital certificates are available.
