Once your investment has been submitted and accepted, you may have follow-up questions — such as how to contact the company, update your personal information, or manage your records. This article outlines the most common post-investment support needs and how to address them.


🤝 How Do I Contact the Company I Invested In?

If you have questions about:

  • The company’s business operations or fundraising progress

  • Timing for share issuance

  • Offering terms or updates

  • Ongoing shareholder communications

You’ll want to contact the issuer’s investor relations representative.

To find their contact information:

  1. Log in at portal.dealmaker.tech

  2. Navigate to “My Companies”

  3. Select the relevant offering

  4. Look for Investor Contact Information listed on the dashboard or documents tab

🏠 How Do I Change My Address or Investment Information?

To update your contact details (email, address, phone) or correct personal information:

For basic contact changes:

  • Visit your Investor Dashboard

  • Navigate to your account profile or the specific investment

  • Edit your personal details if the fields are open

  • For locked fields, contact DealMaker Support or the issuer directly

For more complex updates:

  • Entity structure or ownership changes

  • Banking or payment details after submission

  • Corrections to your subscription agreement

🔁 What If I Need to Update Information After the Deal Closes?

Once an offering is closed, any updates related to share ownership (e.g., name changes, transfers, lost documents) are typically handled by the issuer or their transfer agent (such as DealMaker TA, if applicable).

In these cases, your Engage Portal may be the best place to:

  • Confirm your shareholder status

  • Access your share certificate

  • Update contact information used for ongoing communications
