What documents can I upload to verify my Individual account is an accredited investor?

The easiest and fastest way to confirm your accreditation is to upload a letter signed by an accountant/lawyer/broker-dealer/investment advisor, template letter can be found here.

However, the following are alternative methods for individual investors, one of the following options required:

Option 1: Proof of Net Worth

Any document(s) showing your net worth exceeds $1M USD either individually or together with your spouse - must be dated within the past 90 days of the date of the request. Acceptable documents include:

  • Bank statements

  • Brokerage account statements

  • IRA account statements

  • Cryptocurrency account statements

  • Any other document showing marketable assets

Option 2: Proof of Annual Income

Any documents showing your personal annual income is above $200,000 USD (or $300,000 USD with your spouse) for the previous 2 tax years

  • Income tax returns

  • W2s

  • 1099s

Option 3: Proof of FINRA License & Qualification

Any proof and/or documentation that you currently maintain one of the following FINRA licenses (see SEC rules here):

  • Series 7

  • Series 65

  • Series 82
