How to manage duplicate or unfinished investments in DealMaker?

Follow these step-by-step instructions to delete unfunded or accidental investment entries directly from your DealMaker account.

Duplicate or unfinished investments in your DealMaker account can occur for various reasons, such as unfunded second investment invites or accidental duplicate entries. These entries can clutter your account and lead to unnecessary notifications. Fortunately, you can easily manage and remove these entries yourself.

If you have started an investment but have not yet paid for it, you have the ability to delete that investment from either your dashboard, or the post purchase summary page.

A. To delete an investment from your dashboard

Steps to Remove Duplicate or Unfinished Investments

  1. Log in to Your DealMaker Account - Use your credentials to access your account.

  2. Navigate to the Investments Section - Once logged in, locate the section labeled "Investments" in your account dashboard.

  3. Identify the Duplicate or Unfinished Entry - Review the list of investments and identify the entry that appears to be a duplicate or is marked as unfinished.

  4. Select the ellipsis menu beside the name of the company associated with your investment.

5. Click on the “Delete Investment” button.

6. Acknowledge the pop up message, and click on “Delete investment”

7. Acknowledge the final pop up message and click “Ok”

B. To delete an investment from the post purchase summary page

  1. Click on the ellipsis menu beside the “Dashboard” button

2. Click on the “Delete Investment” button

3. Acknowledge the pop up message, and click on “Delete investment”

4. Acknowledge the final pop up message and click “Ok”
