Before you begin:
Make sure you are logged into your Dockwa account and that your payment details are up to date. Don't have a Dockwa account? Sign up here.
We also recommend adding your boat to your account ahead of time for a more seamless booking experience. You can add your boat(s) here: dockwa.com/account/boats
BoatUS or Safe Harbor members: Add your membership details under Settings > Memberships. Discounts are only available at marinas that participate in the BoatUS or Safe Harbor program.
Please note: Your price quote will not be shown until you are on the final step before submitting your reservation request.
Marina rates are not publicly displayed because they depend on each marina’s specific rate setup, which may include variations based on LOA, holidays, and other factors.
Reservation Process
Step 1: Choose Reservation Type & Dates
Search for your marina in Dockwa.
Choose the type of booking you need:
Short Term Reservation – For transient or short stays such as overnight, weekend, or week-long visits.
Seasonal/Annual Dockage (Inquiry Form) – For long-term slip, mooring, or storage requests. Submitting an inquiry notifies the marina of your interest and provides your boat details. The marina will then follow up directly to confirm availability, rates, and next steps.
Choose a saved boat or add a new boat and pick your desired dates.
Click Continue to Reserve.
Step 2: Specify Electricity Needs (if applicable)
If the marina offers electricity, select your usage needs- costs update automatically in the reservation Overview.
Step 3: Review Your Reservation
On the Overview page, double-check all entries: boat, dates, electricity, memberships (if applicable). You can also add special requests if you have any.
Review the quoted price and confirm your payment information is correct.
Step 4: Agree to Terms & Policies
Check the box to agree to the marina’s cancellation policy and terms, as well as Dockwa’s terms of service and privacy policy.
Step 5: Submit Your Request
Click Request Reservation to send your booking request to the marina.
You’ll see a Pending Reservation confirmation page and receive an email that your request has been sent to the marina.
If you don’t see either, check your Trips section or contact Dockwa Support.
Common Questions
Can I place multiple reservation requests for the same dates at different marinas?
Yes, you can — but we don’t recommend it. Placing multiple requests for the same dates may result in being double booked and charged. You would be responsible for cancelling any duplicate reservations, and refunds are always subject to the marina’s cancellation policy.
