Q: What can I use my bank account for on Dockwa?
A: To pay for contracts or transient reservations. Bank accounts cannot be used for Sales/POS charges.
Q: Is there a limit to how many bank accounts I can add?
A: No, there is no limit.
Q: Who can add a bank account to Dockwa?
A: Only registered Dockwa users.
Q: How long does it take to verify my bank account?
A: Verification is instant if your bank participates in instant verification. If there is an issue or you are unable to find your bank in this list, you can enter your bank details manually instead.
Q: Can I delete my bank account from Dockwa?
A: Yes, as long as the account is not tied to any upcoming reservation or contract.
Q: Can I use my connected bank account to pay for any contract or reservation at any marina on Dockwa?
A: Not all marinas accept bank account payments.
For contracts, if a marina accepts ACH, your bank account will appear as a payment option when signing a contract once you've added it to your account.
For reservations, if the marina does not accept ACH, they may follow up with you to update your payment method on file.
Q: Do you store my banking credentials and account details?
A: No. Neither Dockwa nor our payment processor (Stripe) stores your banking credentials.
Q: When are funds withdrawn from my account?
A: Bank payments take longer to settle than cards. You may see a pending withdrawal within 1 day, and full settlement can take up to 4 days. To avoid failures, check your account balance regularly.
