Step-by-Step Guide to Feature an Opportunity to Employees

. Navigate to the Home Page

  • On your dashboard, locate and click on the "Home" tab in the left-hand menu to access the main overview of your organization’s activities.

2. Locate the "Featured Activity" Section

  • On the Home page, you'll find a section on the right titled "Featured Activity".

  • Here, you can choose an activity that you would like to highlight for your employees, giving it greater prominence.

3. Click "Update Featured Activity"

  • To change the activity that is being featured, click on the "Update featured activity" button beneath the current featured activity.

4. Select an Activity to Feature

  • A new window will pop up titled "Feature Activity".

  • In this window, you will see a list of activities from various apps.

  • You can filter the list by selecting the app, activity type (e.g., Ongoing, Action, or Event), and the organization.

5. Choose an Activity

  • Scroll through the list to find the activity you want to feature.

  • Select the checkbox next to the activity name. This could be an event, an ongoing volunteering opportunity, or a special action (e.g., Get involved with nature or Skilled Volunteering).

6. Click "Feature Activity"

  • Once you've selected the activity, click the "Feature Activity" button at the bottom right of the pop-up window to save your selection.

7. View the Updated Featured Activity

  • After selecting the activity, it will now be displayed as the Featured Activity on the Home page, making it more visible to employees.

8. Employee View

  • On the employee’s dashboard, they will now see the new featured activity prominently displayed at the top of their home screen under Featured Activity. They can easily click on it to engage with the opportunity.

This method ensures that important activities and opportunities are highlighted for your employees, encouraging higher participation and engagement.
