When volunteers apply to participate in a volunteering opportunity through the app, they will be asked to provide their personal information, such as their name, contact details, and phone number. We will only collect and process this information for the purpose of facilitating the volunteering opportunity and communicating with the volunteer about the opportunity.

As the volunteer has explicit agreed to share the data with you when applying, you can ontact them via your system post email as long as you adhere to the volunteer recruitment guidelines stated in our policies. You must adhere to the most up to date policies and we will restrict any organisation who uses the platform to email anyone other than the purposes of volunteering recruitment.

The platform's terms and conditions already include the coverage of third-party sharing, and it will cover any sharing of personal data with the charity. To read the full privacy policy click here. https://doit.life/privacy-policy

We will make sure that volunteers are fully informed about how their data will be shared and for what purposes. an to ensure that volunteers are fully aware of the data sharing practices, we will be adding a brief summary of the relevant sections of the platform's terms and conditions in the volunteer registration form, along with a checkbox for the volunteer to acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms plus an additional check box to communicate third party sharing.

Overall, it's important that we are transparent and clear about how personal data is collected, processed, and shared on the platform to ensure that volunteers feel confident and safe using the service.
