Before going to create a new role make sure you have setup your organisation account and got all the right settings in place and have the permissions to publish into apps.
If you are getting an error message saying please connect apps, go to your org settings, click on your ecosystems, click edit and click connect apps, add the Big help out app and doit volunteer app and click save changes.
So to create a new role click ¨new activity" in the top right green button on the activities page
2. Click new ongoing opportunity in the right hand corner.
Please kindly do not post ongoing roles as events or actions, these will be checked and removed. It´s a negative experience for the volunteer and will not result in more applications!
3. Choose which app you would like to publish too.
Apps are containers which hold different audiences in. For example Big help out is a national campaign app that runs from June to September. Do it volunteer app is mainly for ongoing roles all year round. We will be adding additional apps as we go, so it makes live easier not to have to publish to multiple places.

Category
Description
Requirements
What do the participants need to offer ?
what do they need to receive?
For these requirements, if you type it out and click the plus button to the right, they will add automatically.
Activity metrics are optional, they can be if you would like to start to put a target for how many hours volunteering an individual might want to do, such as 50 or 100 hours.
Click continue.
2. Add a cover image and one extra image. The dimensions are 1200 by 430 and max size is 5mb.
Click continue.
