With this integration, charities can seamlessly handle and promote volunteer opportunities directly from Assemble's platform to Do it.

Where to Begin?

Step 1. Create a Doit Account: Charities utilising Assemble's software must first create an account on Doit to initiate the integration. Click here to create an account or if you already have an account let assemble know.

Step 2. Let Assemble know you have created an account and agreed to the terms and conditions.

How to Register?

Create a user account by providing your name, email, and password. Verify your account via the email sent to you. If you don't receive it, check this article for assistance.

Set up your organization's account by filling in the name, URL, address, public email, phone number, and description. If you lack a phone number, you can use 111111111 for now.

Integration with Assemble FAQ

How do charities activate the integration with Assemble?

Charities need to create an account on Doit.life, accept the terms and conditions, and then request activation of the integration from Assemble.

What if I encounter issues or errors with the platform?

If you experience any issues or errors with the Doit platform, such as opportunities not syncing, or not showing correctly you can contact us directly Support for the integration is available at hello@doit.life with response times of up to 72 hours.

Assemble is responsible for turning on the integration in your account. Please reach out to them for assistance for this part.

What happens after the integration is activated?

Once the integration is activated, the user journey for volunteers will land on the opportunity page of the Assemble front end. You do not need to take any further action.

How can I turn off the integration if needed?

If you wish to turn off the integration, please contact Assemble for assistance.

What should I do if the roles are not pulling through correctly?

If you encounter any issues with roles not pulling through correctly, please contact Doit at hello@doit.life for support and troubleshooting.

Is there a cost associated with the integration?

There is currently no cost associated with the integration.

How do I know if an application is from Doit?

Applications from Doit are tracked as referral applications on the Doit platform. It's up to the volunteer to proceed with the application process on Assemble.

What data do I receive on the volunteer?

You will receive information on the volunteer .

How long does it take for the integration to be completed?

The integration typically takes up to 1 weeks, depending on the speed of account creation and when Assemble can activate it.

What technical requirements are needed for the integration?

There are no specific technical requirements for the integration.

Is training provided for using the integrated platform?

Training can be provided if necessary, although it should not be required. Assemble will provide information of how to publish and pause roles from Assemble´s side .

Is there ongoing technical support available after the integration is completed?

Yes, we provide ongoing technical support and maintain the API 24/7. Any downtime will be addressed within 48 hours.

Are there any limitations or restrictions on the data shared between the platforms?

All data is securely stored, and there is no direct data transfer between platforms. Data is held in Assemble.

Can volunteers sign up for opportunities directly through the integrated platform?

Yes, volunteers can sign up for opportunities directly through Assemble via clicking Apply via External URL and being directed to the hosted volunteer page

What happens to volunteer data after it is shared between platforms? Is it securely stored and protected?

All data is securely stored, with no direct data transfer between platforms. Data is primarily held in Assemble.

Can the integration be customized to fit specific needs or preferences of the charity?
