What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security feature that adds an extra step to verify your identity when logging in. It helps keep your account secure, even if your password is compromised.
With 2FA enabled, you will need:
Your password
A 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app or sent to your email.
This adds an extra layer of security, ensuring only you can access your account.
Why is Two-Factor Authentication Mandatory?
We’ve made 2FA mandatory to enhance the security of your DolarApp Business account and protect your transactions. Enabling 2FA ensures that unauthorized users cannot access your account, even if they have your password.
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Follow these simple steps to enable 2FA on your DolarApp account:
Download an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, if you don’t already have one.
Log in to your DolarApp account. You will be prompted to enable 2FA.
Scan the QR code displayed on your screen with your authenticator app.
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app to complete the setup.
Alternative Login Option
If you are unable to use an authenticator app, you can request a one-time password (OTP) to be sent to your registered email. Use this OTP to log in.
What Happens if I Skip This?
To keep your account secure, you must set up 2FA with an authenticator app in order to log in. If you have trouble setting it up, feel free to contact our support team for assistance.
