How to make your first USD transfer to DolarApp

How to link your US bank account to DolarApp 🔗

This essential step isn’t too complicated, but it can’t be skipped. Follow the instructions below, or watch these two videos (how to add a bank account, and how to verify your small deposits).

Step 1: Add DolarApp as a beneficiary

  • Add your DolarApp Account and Routing number as a payee or beneficiary to your existing US bank account.

Step 2: Your bank automatically sends DolarApp two small deposits

  • Your bank will usually make two small deposits (usually less than $1) to your DolarApp account.

  • It may take up to five business days for your small deposits to arrive.

Step 3: Enter the two small deposits amounts to your existing bank portal

  • Last, your bank will ask you to enter the amount that was deposited to your DolarApp account into their banking portal. Once you enter the correct deposit amounts, your account will be linked.

How to make a USD transfer from your linked US account

  • 🏦 Specify if the transaction will be a credit or debit to the account where the transaction originates. Currently, DolarApp only supports ACH credits, but ACH debits will be available soon.

  • 💰 Enter the payment amount.

  • 📆 Prepare to complete your payment.

    Some financial institutions will let you post-date a payment. Remember that the payment can take up to 6 or 7 days to be credited, so don't panic if it takes a little longer to be reflected in your balance, your payments are safe with us.
