This initial step is optional and only necessary if your issuing bank requires it to make transfers. Linking your U.S. bank account with DolarApp allows for a smoother transfer experience. If your bank requires you to add DolarApp as a beneficiary before making transfers, here’s how:

Step 1: Add DolarApp as a beneficiary
Add your DolarApp Account and Routing number as a payee or beneficiary to your existing US bank account.
Step 2: Your bank automatically sends DolarApp two small deposits
Your bank will usually make two small deposits (usually less than $1) to your DolarApp account.
It may take up to five business days for your small deposits to arrive.
Step 3: Enter the two small deposits amounts to your existing bank portal
Last, your bank will ask you to enter the amount that was deposited to your DolarApp account into their banking portal. Once you enter the correct deposit amounts, your account will be linked.

Once you have completed the above steps (if they were necessary), you are ready to send USD to DolarApp. Remember, the payment will arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Here's how:
