Adding extensions to the browser Dolphin {anty}
Updated over 3 months ago

In Dolphin{anty} you can add the extension to all browser profiles at once, or to a specific type of browser profile (e.g. all FB or Crypto profiles).

Important ❗️

It is recommended to add all extensions according to these instructions to avoid problems with unlogging or incorrect work of extensions in the future.

How to add an extension?

1. Go to the 🧩 Extensions section by clicking the corresponding button in the left menu of the browser.

2. In the Extensions section, click the "+" button in the upper right corner next to the search bar.
3. When you click the "+" button, the Add dialog box will appear.

And there are 2 options here:
🔹 Add from Chrome Extension Store.
🔹 Add using extension archive.

🛒 Adding an extension from the Chrome store

In this window, you can add an extension from the Chrome Web Store by simply copying the extension link and pasting it into the corresponding field of the dialog box. You can then select the type of profiles it will be installed on, or select "All Sites" to install it on all profiles.

Important: the link must be of the following type:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/editthiscookie/fngmhnnpilhplaeedifhccceomclgfbg
If there are any parameters at the end of your link, such as ?hl=ru, you should remove them from the link, including the question mark.

As mentioned above, you should choose the type of profiles to which the extension will be added (the type is specified when creating the profile), or select "All Sites" to add it to all profiles. You can also choose to share the extension with the team (additional users). In this case, all team members will see it in their list of extensions, and it will be available in their profiles of the selected type.

After clicking the Create button, the extension will be available in the browser profile.

🗄 Add an extension from the archive

You also have the option to add your own custom extension, or an extension that is not available in the Chrome Web Store.
1. To do this, in the Add Extensions dialog box, click the Upload File tab.

2. In the window that appears you can add the name of the extension, download a zip archive with the extension itself
You can also ⬇️.

  • Change the logo.

  • Select the profile types in which this extension will appear.

  • You can share it with the team.

Important:
1. If you add heavy extensions by Store in Browser Profile, it may cause profiles to take a long time to close and there will be profile synchronization errors.
2. Extensions may not function correctly on profiles with an outdated user agent, for example: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2848.18 Safari/537.36. This happens because not all extensions support older version of Chrome.
