ValidationError: "port" length must be less than or equal to 5 characters long
ValidationError: "port" length must be less than or equal to 5 characters long
Possible reason and solution ⬇️
It’s likely that you’re adding the proxy in an incorrect format, and the application detects an error.
Note that there are two common proxy formats:
HOST:PORT:LOGIN:PASSWORD
LOGIN:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT
Make sure your proxies are formatted correctly, without extra spaces, symbols, or typos.
* Optionally, you can add :name at the end of any format.
** At the end of each proxy, you can specify an IP change link in square brackets []

Fail. Proxy is invalid or is restricted for checking host.
Possible reasons ⬇️
This could mean one of the following issues ⬇️
It’s impossible to connect to the proxy server from this specific connection (ISP).
The proxy server is unresponsive, meaning the proxies themselves are not working (even if the seller’s website claims they are, that information isn’t always reliable).
The proxy checker in Dolphin{anty} cannot connect and verify this particular proxy (this is a rare case since we use a reliable service that usually works without issues).
Possible solutions ⬇️
Change the network: for example, connect to another Wi-Fi or share the internet from your phone.
Use a VPN: launch it before opening Dolphin{anty}.

I can’t create free proxies, error "400 Bad Request".
This error might appear if your Asocks account balance is exhausted. In this case, log into your Asocks account and check the current balance status. If it’s empty, simply top it up or renew your subscription.
If the problem persists, don’t hesitate to contact Asocks support — they will help you find a solution. 🤝
My proxies worked for several days and then stopped.
My proxies worked for several days and then stopped.
If your proxies stopped working after some time, there could be several reasons. Sometimes the connection is blocked by the internet provider, while other times the proxies are disabled on the server.
Possible solutions ⬇️
Change the network: for example, connect to another Wi-Fi or share the internet from your phone.
Use a VPN: launch it before opening Dolphin{anty}.
If nothing helps, the problem is most likely with the proxies themselves. In this case, it’s better to contact the provider for details. 🤝

If you and your colleagues have different network connections, it’s possible that the connection to the proxy is being blocked by your internet provider.
Possible solutions ⬇️
Change the network: for example, connect to another Wi-Fi or share the internet from your phone.
Use a VPN: launch it before opening Dolphin{anty}.
If the proxies still don’t connect after this, check your network settings or contact your proxy provider for assistance.
Errors when changing IP via link
Errors when changing IP via link
If you encounter an error when changing the proxy’s IP via link, here are some possible reasons and solutions ⬇️
Incorrect link — Make sure the link corresponds to the proxy you are working with. Sometimes you might accidentally use a link from another provider or one that doesn’t match these specific proxies.
Timeout — Each proxy provider has its own time interval for when IP change is unavailable. Typically, it ranges from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. It’s best to check the exact timing with the provider. If you hit a timeout, wait a bit and try again.
Provider-side issue — Sometimes the problem is on the provider’s side. The server may be temporarily unavailable or experiencing technical difficulties. In this case, the link won’t work, and you should contact the proxy provider’s support team for details on when the issue will be resolved.
My proxy shows a different GEO
My proxy shows a different GEO
This behavior can be explained by differences in IP geolocation databases. Dolphin{anty} automatically pulls geolocation data from the proxy using its own checker.
How to determine the proxy’s geolocation ⬇️
To check the geolocation of a proxy, you can use vpng.net — it’s a collection of various checkers that identifies the country by IP. For more reliable results, it’s recommended to cross-check using other external services like pixelscan.net, myip.com, or whatismyipaddress.com.
If the results on vpng.net match the desired country and location, everything is fine. If not, this is the reason for the "incorrect" country display, and you should contact your proxy provider to clarify the issue.
Low proxy speed
Low proxy speed
Under normal working conditions, Dolphin{anty} cannot affect the performance of proxies. We simply don’t have that functionality. Therefore, the problem is most likely with the proxies themselves or the proxy provider.
Ways to check ⬇️
Test the speed using any internet speed measurement service within the browser profile.
Check the connection speed in a regular browser on the same PC. Proxy speed can be affected by your internet provider and connection speed. For example, mobile internet often has unstable connections, and the same applies to mobile proxies.
The proxy provider may be experiencing temporary technical issues (e.g., due to weather conditions at the proxy distribution location), which could affect all their proxies at the moment.
Test the proxies on different internet connections.
Test them on different PCs.
In almost 100% of cases, the problem is with the proxies themselves. You either need to wait for them to start working properly or replace them.
No internet on a website or in the browser
No internet on a website or in the browser
First, test how opens the website www.google.com.
Depending on the result, here are the possible causes and actions ⬇️
Google.com opens, but the site you need doesn’t
Google.com opens, but the site you need doesn’t
If google.com opens and you have already checked the work of proxies as indicated here, then it is likely that these proxies could get into the block, after which the site stopped opening on this IP-address.
Why does this happen? ⬇️
Many websites rely on databases that flag suspicious proxies. If your proxies have been flagged, the sites will block them, preventing partial or full access.
In this case, the only solution is to replace the proxies. 🥲

It’s possible that third-party software like Socksescort, Proxifier, Pia5Proxy, or 922 is interfering.
In case of these programs you need to uninstall them, then reinstall them, disabling LSP-certificate during installation.
After that you need to reinstall the Dolphin{anty} application and reboot the device.
