Detailed information about installing extensions can be found in the article "Extensions"

Unable to add an extension

Installation in Dolphin{anty} via the link

The extension upload limit has been exceeded

On accounts with the Free plan, you can install no more than 10 extensions via Dolphin{anty}. On the Free+ plan, no more than 25 extensions.

Possible solution ⬇️

Upgrade your plan to Base, Team, or Enterprise to install an unlimited number of extensions via Dolphin{anty}, or remove some of the extensions to install another one.

Incorrect link or a link not leading to the ChromeWebStore

When adding an extension, it is important to take the link directly from the ChromeWebStore. For example, like this one.

Installation in Dolphin{anty} via archive

"Uploading extensions via archive is not available on the Free plan."

On the "Free" plan, there is no option to add extensions via archive. To enable this feature, you need to have a Free+ plan or higher on your account.

"The zip archive with the extension is invalid."

All extension files must be located directly in the archive, not within a subfolder. If the archive first leads to a subfolder and only then to the files related to the extension, this error may occur.

Installation inside the profile manually

Most often, a non-working "Install" button in the ChromeWebStore can be caused by an incorrect or outdated User-Agent in the profile.

Important: Installing extensions inside the profile is not recommended, as it may take up more space and reduce performance, especially with a large number of extensions. Installing via Dolphin{anty} is more optimized, as the extension will be properly configured to work in Anty. Additionally, this method allows you to install the extension on all profiles or profile types at once, simplifying the process.

The extension doesn't appear in the profile after adding it

Installation via Dolphin{anty}

An incorrect profile type is specified

Dolphin{anty} profiles can be of different types: FB, Google, Crypto, TikTok. When installing extensions, you need to specify which profile type it will be installed for, or choose the "All sites" option.

Therefore, check that the extension is installed for the correct profile type — for example, if you installed it for "TikTok", it won't work in the "FB" profile. If you select "All sites", the extension will be added to all profiles.

The extension needs to be reinstalled

It’s possible the extension was initially installed incorrectly. Try removing it from the "Extensions" tab and then reinstalling it via the link from the Chrome Web Store.

Installation inside the profile

Manually installing extensions inside the profile is not recommended, and it’s better to initially try installing via the "Extensions" tab in Dolphin{anty}.

Try fully removing the extension from the profile and then adding it specifically through the application.

If the extension doesn’t appear in the profile despite the installation method, contact support for a more detailed investigation of your issue. 🤝

The extension is not working correctly

It is worth checking in advance and eliminating possible causes of incorrect and non-standard operation of the extension ⬇️

Proxy

Check the profile with different proxies and without a proxy at all. If the situation improves after switching the proxy, the previous proxies are likely of poor quality or limited, or they are blacklisted, causing the extension to malfunction.

User-Agent

An incorrect or outdated User Agent can cause issues with the extension’s performance. Update the User Agent to the latest version to eliminate possible errors. How to update the UA?

Old version of the application

Update the application to the latest version if yours is outdated.

Old version of the extension

If the extension hasn’t been updated, errors or crashes may occur. Make sure you have the latest version of the extension installed 👍

How is the extension updated?

Extensions installed both through the Dolphin{anty} application and manually inside the profile are updated automatically 🔄
