⚠️ Important:
You must obtain valid Enthuse API credentials before you can connect the integration.
Connect Donorfy to Enthuse
Once you have received your Enthuse API credentials, you can connect your accounts.
Go to Integrations, click Enthuse.
Select Settings.
Enter your Client ID, Client Secret, and API Key.
Click Connect.
When the connection is successful, you can complete the remaining integration settings.
Configure the Default Campaign
The default campaign is used when no campaign is supplied by Enthuse.
Select a Default Campaign from the list.
Create a new campaign if required and return to select it.
This campaign is used when a donation, supporter, or fundraising page does not include campaign information.
Select an Anonymous Donor Constituent
Anonymous donations must be assigned to a designated constituent.
Choose an Anonymous Donor Constituent.
Create a dedicated constituent for Enthuse anonymous donations if required.
Using a dedicated anonymous constituent makes it easier to report on anonymous Enthuse income.
Set the Integration Start Date
The integration start date controls which transactions are imported.
Set the Integration Start Date.
Confirm that only transactions on or after this date should be imported.
⚠️ Important:
Transactions before this date are not imported automatically. If required, they must be added using the File Uploader.
Related supporters and fundraising pages may still be created even if they pre-date the start date.
Configure Default Products
Default products ensure transactions are categorised correctly.
Product – Fundraising
Select the product used for Enthuse fundraising donations.
Confirm this is only overridden when a fundraising page specifies its own product.
Product – Event Registration
Select the product used for paid event registrations.
Use a product distinct from fundraising, such as Event Ticket or Enthuse Ticket.
Using separate products improves reporting accuracy between donations and ticket sales.
Choose Constituent Types
Constituent types are applied when new records are created.
Select the Individuals constituent type for people.
Select the Organisations constituent type for non-individual supporters.
These types are used only when new constituents are created by the integration.
Save and Activate the Integration
Once all settings are complete, activate the integration.
Click Save Changes.
Open the Collect Data tab.
Set Collect Data Automatically to Yes.
⚠️ Important:
Automatic collection ensures new donations and fundraising pages are imported without manual intervention.
