Event organizers must share the Doodle event link with their participants. How you can share your group poll depends on whether you use Free Doodle or Doodle Professional.
Free Doodle users
Free Doodle users can invite people to participate in their group poll by sharing the link to their poll.
Invite via link sharing:
Open your group poll from your dashboard
Click 'Copy link'
Paste the poll link into an email, or share it via Slack, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams and many other applications.
Good to Know for Free Doodle
Up to 100 people can respond to a group poll sent by a Free Doodle user
Poll organizers cannot un-invite someone after they have been invited to participate in your poll
Poll organizers cannot delete or change a response of a poll participant
Poll organizers cannot delete a participant from the list of poll participants
Doodle Professional users
Doodle Professional users can invite people to participate in their group poll by sharing the link to their poll or by using Doodle's built-in email feature.
Invite via link sharing:
Open your group poll from your dashboard
Click 'Copy link'
Paste the poll link into an email, or share it via Slack, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams and many other applications.
Share via email invitation (requires a Doodle Professional Plan):
From the Group Poll Summary screen, click 'Show poll details'
Click on 'More'
Click on 'Email invitation'
Enter the emails of your participants
Edit the invitation message if needed
Click 'Send'
Good to Know for Doodle Professional
When you email the invitation via Doodle, the sender will always show as 'Doodle' in the invite recipient's inbox. Make sure your invitees know to interact with these emails to respond to your group poll
Paid Doodle users can email up to 1,000 people
Poll organizers cannot un-invite someone after they have been invited to participate in your poll
Poll organizers cannot delete or change a response of a poll participant
Poll organizers cannot delete a participant from the list of poll participants
