Understanding how DoorSpot is organized helps you find what you need faster, stay efficient, and avoid unnecessary clicks. The main menu in DoorSpot is purpose-built and organized by function, not just label. Each section is designed to align with a core part of your business workflow.

You’ll Find

This structure helps reduce friction. Once you understand the purpose of each section, it becomes second nature to know where to go.

Navigation Tips:

  • Redundancy is intentional.
You’ll often see related tools or actions in multiple places (e.g., you can create a reservation from the Reservations tab or a Contact profile). This reduces “click fatigue” and gives you flexibility depending on your workflow.

  • Filters are everywhere.
From reservations to contacts and documents, filters help you narrow down what you're viewing—by status, date, tag, property, and more. It’s one of the fastest ways to get a clear view of what matters right now.

  • Return to the start menu anytime

Click the DoorSpot icon in the upper left corner to return to the Dashboard Start menu. This can help if you get lost navigating through menus or need to quickly return to the start menu to begin a new task.
