Why Are the Terms & Conditions Changing?

The Terms & Conditions have been updated to reflect the new partnership between Dosh and One New Zealand. These updates outline how certain customer information may be shared with One NZ and clarify how this data will be used to manage the rewards programme.

Key Changes in the Terms & Conditions

  • Integration of One Wallet with the Dosh app.

  • Limited sharing of personal information with One NZ.

  • One NZ’s communication regarding rewards.

  • Use of anonymised data to enhance the rewards programme.

  • Customer rights, such as the option to opt out of marketing communications.

Impact on Existing Accounts and Banking Relationships

These updates do not affect the way Dosh manages your account or your relationship with your bank.

Accessing the Updated Documents

Direct links to the updated Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are available on the Dosh website and app.

If You Do Not Agree with the Changes

Customers who do not accept the updated Terms & Conditions can close their Dosh accounts within 30 days of receiving the notice.

Security and Privacy Assurances

Dosh remains compliant with the Privacy Act 2020 and continues to uphold strict protocols for the security of personal data.

Fees and Rewards Updates

There are no changes to existing fees. Cashback rewards earned through the dosh card will be withdrawn, with final cashback payment scheduled for early February 2026.

Opting Out of Marketing Communications from One NZ

To opt out of marketing communications, customers must close their Dosh account. Maintaining a Dosh account with a One Wallet allows you to earn Phone Dollars, which can be used to upgrade your phone or be gifted to family members. Phone Dollars are redeemable for new phones at One NZ retail stores. Further information is available at https://one.nz/one-wallet.

Using Dosh Without Being a One NZ Mobile Customer

You do not need to be a One NZ mobile customer to use Dosh. The changes enable you to earn Phone Dollars and enjoy benefits with One NZ, which can be used towards upgrading your phone device if desired.

New Rewards Programme

To participate in the new rewards programme, you will need to open a One Wallet, which will be accessible within the Dosh app. Please refer to the offers below for more information.

One NZ Mobile Account Requirement

The loyalty programme does not require Dosh customers to be One NZ mobile customers or to hold a mobile account with One NZ.

Opting Out of the One Wallet

If you wish to opt out of the One Wallet, you must close your Dosh account. Retaining your Dosh account with a One Wallet enables you to earn Phone Dollars, which can be used to upgrade your phone or gifted to family members. Eligibility for Phone Dollars (Under 18 Years Old)

Dosh customers aged 13 years and older can earn Phone Dollars. However, you must be at least 18 years old to redeem Phone Dollars with One NZ. If you are under 18, you can gift your Phone Dollars to a family member for redemption.
