Good news, we can now give you advice

Dosh is a Financial Advice Provider

Written by James

Dosh is now a licensed Financial Advice Provider, which means we can offer regulated financial advice on home loans, not just information.

This is a big step forward in our mission to help Kiwis make smarter money decisions and feel more confident when it comes to one of the biggest financial moves you'll ever make — your home loan.

What does it mean that Dosh is a Financial Advice Provider?

Becoming a Financial Advice Provider, or FAP for short, means Dosh is licensed by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) to provide regulated financial advice on home loans.

In practical terms, that means:

You can now receive personalised home loan advice, not just general information

Advice is provided by a qualified, regulated financial adviser.

Dosh and its advisers must meet the standards set out in the Financial Markets Conduct Act and Code of Conduct.

There is a clear complaints and dispute resolution process for peace of mind.

Our advice currently focuses on home loans only, so you can be confident the guidance you receive is relevant, compliant, and tailored to your situation.
