dot.Exchange allows dot owners to collect the contact information of those who tap their dot.device or visit their dot.Profile.

The people you meet will be able to press a button on your dot.Profile to fill out a contact card that's then sent to you and stored in your account's contact book. You also have the option in your dot.Exchange settings for your connections to automatically be prompted to fill out the contact card.

This way everyone can be connected and have each other's information with just one dot. device!

Using dot.Exchange

People who visit your dot.Profile will now see the

icon to the right of the Save Contact button.

When they press the dot.Exchange icon, a blank contact card will pop up on their screen to fill out.

Their name and email are required fields. They can also provide their phone number and a note. Once they press the Exchange button, they'll be asked to add a meeting location to provide more context for both sides. If they select "Add Meeting Location", they'll be asked for permission to use their phone's location to determine where the meeting took place.

They'll then see a pop-up notification letting them know their information was sent.

Reviewing your contacts

You can review your contacts by logging into your account. Make sure you are in Edit mode (not Preview) and you'll see Contacts at the bottom of the page:

You'll then be able to view your contact in order of most recent and you can select "View all" to see all of your contacts. There is no limit to how many contacts you can keep in your contact book.

When you click on one of your contacts, you'll be able to review their information and take several actions such as texting, calling, or emailing them. You can also set up reminders so you can be notified at a particular time and date to reach out to them. You can then add a Personal Note.

When setting a follow-up reminder, you can choose a suggested time or choose a specific time and leave a reminder note for yourself.

You can click the 3 dots in the upper-right corner of the contact to edit, download, share, or delete the information.

Adjusting your settings

On your main Contacts page, you can adjust your dot.Exchange settings by pressing the setting icon:

dot.Exchange is turned on by default as well as email notifications, but "Quick Capture Mode" which prompts your profile visitors to exchange their contact information with you without having to press the exchange button needs to be toggled on (to the right) to be enabled.

You're able to turn off dot.Exchange entirely or turn off email notifications by toggling to the left.

Email notifications

Your contact will receive an email with your contact information and meeting details (time and location).

They'll be able to take quick actions such as contacting you via text, email, or call, and visiting your website and your social media pages.

They can also access your dot.Profile directly from the email.

You will receive an email notification as well (as long as it is toggled on) so that you can take the same actions you can in your dot account's contact book directly from your inbox!
