What happens when I disable my dot?

Disabling your dot.device from your profile will turn off your dot. This will allow you to put the device "on hold".

Why should I disable my dot?

If you misplace or lose your dot.device, use the Disable Feature. After you find the dot and you're ready to start using it again, you can re-enable the device.

How do I disable my dot?

To successfully Disable a dot.device from your dot.Profile:

  1. Log into your dot.Profile on https://dot.cards

  2. Press Setup or Edit Profile - here you will be able to view your connected devices

  3. Switch the toggle next to the device you want to Disable

  4. You will see a red circle light next to that device once it's disabled

  5. You are set!

An Error Page with the message "The device is not enabled" will display once you tap the dot to a phone. Your dot.device is now turned OFF until you re-Enable it.
