What is a dot?
A dot.device is a seamless way to transfer your contact information into someone else's phone.
How does it work?
You tap the dot.device to the back of the recipient's phone, a notification pops up with a link to your dot.Profile. The link will open your dot.Profile in the recipient's web browser. Here, the recipient can save your contact card into their phone's contact book.
To transfer your contact information neither you nor the person receiving your information needs to install an app since everything is displayed in the browser. The person that receives your dot.Profile does not need an account to save the contact.
All dots work independently of each other. You are free to link as many dot.devices as you want to a single dot.Profile, or link all dot.devices to separate profiles. You can edit and update the information on your dot.Profile as many times as you want.
Types
There are five types of dots: card, classic and thin.
The dot.card has a wider scanning capability and the QR code ready to use on the back, making it easier to use with any smartphone.
The dot.classic is designed to go on top of a phone case. The durable adhesive will stick to any surface so you can get creative with the places your dot can go.
The dot.thin is made to fit underneath your phone case as it sports an extremely thin finish.
The dot.band is crafted from a premium silicone, provides a hands free way to connect in any situation. It comes equipped with a unique QR code on the strap to ensure a foolproof connection with every smartphone on the market.
The dot.metal is similar to a dot.card, but made with steel and rafted with a luxurious matte finish, offering a substantial, premium feel in your hand while maintaining a sophisticated soft-to-touch surface.
