💡 The equipment type is the overarching name for a group of devices that typically fall under it. Common equipment types include mash tun, stirring kettle, water kettle, fermentation tank.
💡 The specific equipments are created under Equipment. These devices can then be linked to the equipment type. To add an equipment, follow this 👉 guide.
⇢ Go to Settings – Production – Device Types and click the green plus button.
Name: the name of the equipment type.
Visible in dropdown lists: this is checked by default so you can use this equipment type in a production process.
Default: you can designate one equipment type as the default. The default equipment type will automatically be selected when creating new production processes.
Description: an optional field to provide further clarification.
