Customs - eAD-shipments

💡 After confirming a sales order or transfer under excise duty suspension, a pending eAD is automatically created in Douano. This eAD shipment contains all the information you need to complete your eAD in EMCS.

💡 Through the EMCS integration in Douano, you can easily generate eAD documents without having to log into the EMCS platform. Want more information? Contact us at support@douano.com.

General Information

  • Reference Number: This is the local reference number (LRN) that uniquely identifies this shipment.

  • Shipment: This is the unique identifier of the shipment.

  • Shipping Date: The date the goods were shipped.

  • Time: The time the goods were shipped.

Shipping Information

  • Sender Details

    • Identification: The excise number of your company.

    • Name: The legal name of your company.

    • Address Line 1: The registered address of your company.

    • Postal Code: The postal code of the registered address.

    • City: The city of the registered address.

  • Place of Dispatch

    • Identification: The excise number of the location from which the goods were dispatched.

    • Name: The name of the dispatch location.

    • Address Line 1: The address of the dispatch location.

    • Postal Code: The postal code of the dispatch location.

    • City: The city of the dispatch location.

Destination Information

  • Consignee Details

    • Identification: The excise number of the company receiving the goods.

    • Name: The legal name of the company receiving the goods.

    • Address Line 1: The address of the recipient company.

    • Postal Code: The postal code of the recipient company.

    • City: The city of the recipient company.

  • Place of Delivery

    • Identification: The excise number of the delivery location.

    • Name: The name of the delivery location.

    • Address Line 1: The address of the delivery location.

    • Postal Code: The postal code of the delivery location.

    • City: The city of the delivery location.

    • Country: The country of the delivery location.

Transport Information

  • Name: The name of the transport company carrying the goods.

  • VAT Number: The VAT number of the transport company.

  • Address Line 1: The address of the transport company.

  • Postal Code: The postal code of the transport company.

  • City: The city of the transport company.

Shipment Details

💡 In this section, you’ll find a detailed view of all goods being shipped.

💡 By clicking on a value, it is copied to your clipboard, making it easy to paste into the EMCS system.

Confirming the eAD Declaration

💡 Once the eAD declaration is approved in the EMCS portal, you will receive an ARC number. This ARC number is required to confirm the eAD in Douano.

To confirm an eAD declaration, click the green arrow next to the eAD in the overview list. In the pop-up, enter the ARC number and click Confirm.
