DPD Ireland – Uniform Policy

The appearance of DPD personnel should convey our professional image at all times. DPD's goal is to maintain a professional image and reflect the pride that we have in our company. This dress code policy formalises and provides specific guidelines that are not covered in the Company Handbook. Employees are expected to present a clean, neat appearance and dress according to the requirements of their positions.

Policy and Procedure

Responsibilities

  • It is managements responsibility to establish and enforce the Dress Code Policy to maintain a safe and positive workplace.

  • It is the employee’s responsibility to adhere to the guidelines, procedures, and rules established by management. Employees are encouraged to speak with their manager or supervisor when clarification is needed.

 Warehouse Operatives

  • All clothing must be neat and clean, not torn or baggy and without holes.

  • Uniform includes steel toe boots, DPD branded cargo pants, jacket, sweatshirt and t-shirt.

  • Uniforms must be requested by Supervisors/Managers. A checklist form is then completed and signed by the employee and supervisor.

Business Attire
Those employees who do not wear uniforms should wear business attire such as dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, blouses, suits and ties. The style and colour of the employee’s clothing are the individual employee’s choice. Clothing must be in good taste and conductive to work function.

Casual Day

DPD has deemed Friday as a Casual Dress Day each week. Employees are permitted to wear blue jeans on this day. Employees must use professional judgement and good taste.
