Step 1 – Navigate to the Compliance Rules Tab
Go to the Manage Compliance Rules tab from the main menu. This section displays a list of checklist items associated with your carrier category.
Step 2 – Create a New Compliance Rule
To create a new compliance rule:
Click on Add Rule or Create New Rule.
Enter a Compliance Rule Name (e.g., Texas, Seattle).
A list of available checklist items (based on your carrier’s category) will be shown.
You can
Select the checklist items from the dropdown that are required for compliance
Adjust the weight (%) of each checklist item to reflect its importance.
If you don't want to assign a weightage to each checklist item manually, simply click on the Auto Calculate button once all the checklist items are added.
💡 Example:
Compliance Rule Name: Texas
MVR – 30%
Certificate of Violation – 10%
Medical Certificate – 40%
Compliance Rule Name: Seattle
MVR – 30%
Certificate of Violation – 10%
PSP – 20%
Driver License – 40%
Step 3 – Validate the Rule Before Saving
Each compliance rule must meet the following criteria before it can be saved:
Only checklist items already tied to your category can be used.
The total weight of all selected checklist items must equal exactly 100%.
Step 4 – Associate a Compliance Rule With a Driver
When assigning drivers:
The driver inherits the carrier’s category.
Admins can select a compliance rule for each driver.
Based on the selected rule, the driver’s compliance percentage will be calculated accordingly.
If no specific carrier is linked to the driver, a default rule will apply.
Step 5 – Understand Compliance Percentage Calculation
Compliance is calculated based on which checklist items the driver has completed (uploaded documents) relative to the rule assigned.
📝 Example:
Compliance Rule: Texas
MVR – 30%
Certificate of Violation – 10%
Medical Certificate – 40%
If the driver uploads only the MVR, their compliance score will be 30%.
Uploading all three documents brings the score to 100%.
