Lash Growth Serum FAQs

How long before I see results?

Many patients may start to notice changes in lash appearance around 8 weeks of consistent nightly use. Fuller-looking results typically reach full effect around 16 weeks. Individual results vary.

Will it make my lashes grow back thicker after I stop?

No. Lashes typically return to their baseline appearance within weeks to months of stopping treatment. Consistent nightly use is designed to maintain results.

Do I need a prescription for this?

Yes. All DoctorDerm formulas are prescription-grade and require a provider consultation. Your assessment is the first step

Can I wear mascara or lash extensions with this?

Mascara is generally fine, applied after the serum has fully absorbed. We recommend letting your natural lashes rebuild before reapplying lash extensions so you can see your own results clearly.

Can I use this while pregnant?

Please inform your provider of your pregnancy or plans to become pregnant during the assessment. They will advise on whether this formula is appropriate for you.

Are there any side effects?

Some people may experience mild redness, itching, or darkening of the skin along the lash line. In rare cases, prostaglandin analogs may cause a change in iris color. Please discuss your full medical history with your provider during your assessment.

Can I apply it to my lower lashes or brows?

Lash Growth Serum is formulated for the upper lash line only. Please do not apply to lower lashes, brows, or any other area unless specifically directed by your provider.

How is this different from what I get at a regular dermatologist office?

DoctorDerm treatments combine ingredients into customized formulas that you typically wouldn’t receive as a single prescription in a traditional dermatology office. Our treatments are prepared and delivered directly to your door, giving you a complete skincare experience without the wait times or in-office visits.
