What is the Draftboard JobSync feature?

The Draftboard JobSync feature is a powerful tool that allows companies to automatically post newly added jobs from their Applicant Tracking System (ATS) directly onto Draftboard. By enabling this feature, you can streamline your hiring process, ensuring that your job openings reach a broader audience and get more exposure to potential candidates.

What information is posted when JobSync is enabled?

When a job is listed using JobSync on Draftboard, the basic job details, such as the job title, description, and location, will be posted. Additionally, the default probation period and bonus, as set by the you in your settings page, will be included in the listing.

Can I customize the probation period and bonus for individual job listings? Yes, you have the flexibility to set a default probation period and bonus in your settings page. If you wish to customize these elements for specific job listings, you can do so directly on Draftboard after the job has been listed using JobSync.

Can I make changes to these jobs after they appear on Draftboard?

Absolutely! You have complete control over their job listings, even if they are listed when Job-Sync is enabled. After a job is posted on Draftboard, you can edit, update, or remove the listing at your convenience.

What happens to my unlisted jobs when I enable JobSync?
When you enable the Draftboard JobSync feature, you will be given the option to select which (if any) jobs that were previously unlisted on Draftboard to now list. The feature will then always apply to any newly added jobs after the Job-Sync feature has been activated. It does not retroactively publish or list jobs that were created before enabling the feature unless you select to do so.

Is the JobSync feature mandatory once it's enabled?

No, the JobSync feature is entirely optional and can be toggled on and off at any time. This allows you to have full control over their job postings and decide when you want to utilize this automatic feature.

What happens when I disable the JobSync feature?

When you disable the Draftboard JobSync feature, the automatic posting of newly added jobs from your Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to the Draftboard platform will be turned off. This means that any jobs you create in your ATS after disabling the feature will not be automatically posted on Draftboard. You will need to manually create listings for those jobs on the Draftboard platform if you want them to be visible to potential candidates. Jobs that were previously listed using JobSync on Draftboard will remain visible on the platform. Disabling the feature will not remove these job listings from Draftboard. If you decide to re-enable the JobSync feature in the future, you can simply go to the settings page and toggle it back on. From that point forward, any new jobs added to your ATS will be automatically listed on Draftboard once again.

How does the JobSync feature benefit me?

The JobSync feature offers several advantages to companies, including:

  • Time-saving: Automatically posting jobs to Draftboard eliminates the need for manual data entry, saving valuable time and effort for HR teams.

  • Increased visibility: Job listings on Draftboard reach a wider pool of candidates, enhancing the chances of finding the right talent quickly.

  • Consistency: Default probation periods and bonuses ensure that job listings maintain a consistent format and presentation.
