To view positions and rankings for your officials, log in to the NFHS Center for Officials Services with your DragonFly username and password, then select 'Organizations & People' in the left-side menu.

If you are a staff member or administrator at a local official's association or group, you will see two columns in your checklist for 'Local Position' and 'Local Rank'.

Use the horizontal scroll bar to view the 'State Position' and 'State Rank' columns, which are given to your officials by your state association. This is for the purposes of state-assigned games, like playoffs.

How to Add Positions to an Official

1. Find your official in the 'Organizations & People' list, then click on the empty box under the 'Local Position' column.

2. A pop-up window will open where you can select the checkbox next to each position you want to assign to the official. Select 'Done' to save the position(s).

Note: If your checklist is filtered to 'All Sports' then you will see positions for every sport you assign at the local level. If you want to assign positions based on a single sport, use the 'Sports' filter to choose the individual sport.

3. The position(s) will now appear in the 'Local Position' column of the checklist.

4. Positions will also appear in the Game Schedule when assigning officials to a game. Assigners can also filter their list of available officials by position.

How to Rank an Official

1. Find your official in the 'Organizations & People' list, then click on the empty box under the 'Local Rank' column.

2. A pop-up window will open and default to a ranking scale between 1 and 10 for each position, as well as an overall ranking. Select the rank you want to assign to the official, then click 'Done' to save the rank.

3. If you want to customize the ranking values, select the Edit' link.

4. The rank will now appear in the 'Local Rank' column of the checklist.

5. Rankings will also appear in the Game Schedule when assigning officials to a game. Assigners can also filter their list of available officials by ranking.
