1. Download the NFHS Center for Officials App from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices) and log in with your username and password.

2. Search for the host/home school you wish to assign officials for in the search bar at the top of the screen and select it.

3. Upcoming games with your member school will appear in a list under the 'Schedule' tab. You can filter your list of games by timeframe by tapping on the 'Today-Week-Month-Season-Custom' filters to narrow your results.

4. To filter your games list by Sport, State, Gender, Level, or Class, select the sports icon in the top-left corner of the screen, then tap on your filters in the pop-up window.

5. Tap the game you want to assign.

6. Tap the 'Officials' tab.

7. Tap the position you want to assign.

8. Tap the 'Find Official' button.

9. You will see a list of all available officials. To filter your list, select the funnel icon and tap on the filters you would like to implement. You can filter by state, sport, role, distance, position, rank, association membership, and blocked officials.

10. Tap the official you would like to assign.

11. Tap the 'Assign' button to assign this official to the game. To learn more about the official, select the 'View Official Details' button.

12. To publish the assignment, tap the '+ Actions' button at the bottom of the game, then tap the 'Publish Pending Assignments' button. This will notify the official of the assignment by email and push notification, giving them the option to accept or reject the assignment.
