Rate Sheet and Fee Structure

Breakdown of all fees, markups, and volume discounts

Written by Joe Moulton

Starting June 15, 2026, we standardized effective marketplace rates across all distribution channels to 2%. This means your net economics are now consistent no matter which marketplace sells your tickets. Combined with our 8% consignment fee, you'll pay around 10% all-in — every $100 ticket nets you $90.16 (before volume discounts).

Lysted's Fee

Lysted charges an 8% fee on the total amount received from the selling marketplace. If you opt into Full Service - our team of pricing professionals who manage your listings for you - an additional 3% applies. There's no extra charge for using UpTick, our automated pricing tool that adjusts your listing prices based on your rules and real-time market data.

Marketplace Fee

Our consignment fee is separate from the marketplace fee. As of June 15, 2026, all connected marketplaces now operate at an effective rate of 2%. Here's how it works:

Each marketplace has a base fee structure. For marketplaces with higher base fees, we automatically apply a default markup to bring the effective rate down to 2%. This markup is passed directly to you — you keep 100% of it. The result: regardless of which marketplace sells your ticket, you net $98 per $100 in price before our consignment fee.

For example, SeatGeek's base fee to us is 2%, so no markup is needed. Ticket Network's base fee is 7%, so we apply a 5% markup to achieve the 2% effective marketplace fee. That markup is entirely passed on to you.

Mark Ups

How Pricing Parity Works

Starting June 15, 2026, we apply default markups to all marketplaces to achieve a consistent 2% effective rate across all marketplaces. This means:

  • You keep 100% of the markup. Any price increase applied to a marketplace goes directly into your pocket, not ours.

  • Your net economics are consistent. Whether your ticket sells on SeatGeek, Ticket Network, or any other marketplace, you net the same amount before our consignment fee.

  • You can customize if you want. If you'd like to adjust any default markup — raising it to increase your margin on a specific marketplace, or lowering it to increase velocity — you can do that anytime.

The math is simple: we normalize all marketplaces to a 2% effective rate by default but you have the ability to adjust that if you choose to do so.

[(Price + Mark Up) - Marketplace Fee] - Lysted Fee = Total Payout

All default markups are included in the chart below and passed directly to you.

All-In Fee by Marketplace

This table shows the effective all-in cost per marketplace, accounting for Lysted's fee, the marketplace fee, and the default markup. Marketplaces with a high markup (like Ticket Evolution) result in a lower effective fee because the markup offsets the marketplace's cost.

Worked Examples

Here's how the math works on a $100 ticket across three different marketplaces:

SeatGeek — 2% fee, no markup

  • You list your tickets at $100, it goes to Seatgeek's site and sells at $100

  • Seatgeek takes their 2% fee and pays us $98

  • We take our 8% fee from $98 and you’re paid $90.16

SeatGeek

Lysted Price

$100

SeatGeek Price

$100

SeatGeek Pays Us

($100 - 2%) = $98

We Pay You

($98 - 8%) = $90.16

TickPick — 3% fee, 1% markup

  • When you price your ticket at $100 in Lysted, it posts to TickPicks website and sells at $101

  • Tickpick takes their 3% fee from $101 and pays us $98.

  • We take our 8% fee from $98 and pay you $90.16

TickPick

TickPick Price

($100 + 1%) = $101

TickPick Pays Us

($101 - 3%) = $98

We Pay You

($98 - 8%) = $90.16

Ticket Network — 7% fee, 5% markup

  • Ticket Network works the same, you can see here that although Ticket Network charges a 7% fee, your payout is the same as Seatgeek and TickPick due to the increased mark up.

Note: Volume discounts are not applied automatically. Once you surpass a volume threshold, contact us at lystedsupport@automatiq.com and our account management team will review and update your rate.
